At Birdie, we want you to love every little thing you order from us â from your first foamy hair wash to your final styling spritz. But if somethingâs not quite right, donât stress â our returns process is simple, fair, and totally Aussie Consumer Lawâapproved.
đ How Returns Work
Youâve got 30 days from the day your order lands on your doorstep to request a return.
To qualify, your item must be:
In the same condition you received it â unused, unopened, and looking as fresh as a sea breeze.
In its original packaging with all tags attached.
Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase.
To start your return, send us a quick email at info@birdiehair.com.au.
Once your return is approved, weâll send you a return shipping label and all the info you need to send your item safely back to:
Birdie Hair & Skincare 9/5 Kolora Rd, Heidelberg West, VIC, 3081, AustraliaPlease note: Items sent back without requesting a return first wonât be accepted (we donât want your goodies to go missing!).
If youâre returning from outside Australia, allow a little extra time â shipping can take longer depending on where your parcel is flying in from.
đ Damaged or Faulty Items
We always want your Birdie order to arrive in perfect condition. But if your product is faulty, damaged, or we accidentally send you the wrong item â contact us right away at info@birdiehair.com.au and weâll make it right, fast.
Under Australian Consumer Law, youâre entitled to a replacement or refund if a product is faulty, not as described, or doesnât do what itâs supposed to.
đ« What Canât Be Returned
Because of hygiene reasons (and to keep everyoneâs hair and skin happy), we canât accept returns on:
Used or opened beauty products
Sale items
Gift cards
Custom or limited-edition items
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (yep, even if they smell amazing)
If youâre unsure, just reach out before returning â weâre happy to help!
đ Exchanges
Want to swap it for something else? The quickest way is to return your original item (once approved), and then make a separate purchase for the new one. Easy breezy.
đł Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, weâll let you know if your refundâs been approved.
If itâs all good, your refund will be sent to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Just a heads up â banks can take a little while to process refunds. If itâs been more than 15 business days since approval and your refund still hasnât shown up, drop us a line at info@birdiehair.com.au.

We follow Australian Consumer Law to the letter (and spirit!). That means:
If a product is faulty, unsafe, doesnât match its description, or isnât fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, even after the 30-day period.
Weâll always do our best to keep things fair, transparent, and fuss-free â just how we like it at Birdie.
